Since 1888, the Maestros Roneros (Master Blenders) from the Brugal Family have passionately produced rums for five generations that break traditional ways. It is with this legacy that 1888 was born. 1888 is a complex rum that is double cask aged in American oak and Sherry casks to achieve a perfectly balanced rum.

Double wood aging gives 1888 a balanced and smooth flavor profile with a complex range of flavors. Serve 1888 neat or at a warm temperature to highlight the notes of the ex-bourbon cask such as vanilla, coffee and dried fruits. Then try 1888 on ice and discover the flavor notes of toffee, citrus and red fruits from the first fill Sherry cask. 1888 is a great new alternative for dark spirits, like bourbons or cognacs, as it is slightly sweeter and easier to drink.
