Embedded in the rolling Appalachian hills of Greenbrier County, West Virginia, Smooth Ambler Spirits is a testament to the hard-work and craftsmanship of TAG Galyean and John Little. Working in their state-of-the-art, 5,200 square foot distillery, Galyean and Little combine innovative techniques with locally-sourced grains and a hands-on distillation process to produce remarkable spirits that are bold, complex and perfectly balanced. According to Galyean and Little, Were excited to bring rare spirits to market when they cross our paths and impress our palates. Such is the case with Revelation Rum, an aejo rum from the Caribbean that has made the long journey from near the Blue Mountains of Jamaica to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Appalachia. A blend of two Jamaican pot still rums, the youngest of which was distilled in 1990, each bottle of Revelation Rum is non chill-filtered, bottled by hand and signed by the bottler. Smooth Ambler Revelation Rum has an intense tropical aroma of mango, coconut, pineapple and vanilla, which leads to a meaty palate filled with notes of honey, licorice, bourbon and faint smoke.
