The primary grapes of the Whispering Angel ros are Grenache and Rolle which are key components of the house style at Chteau dEsclans. It is Grenache that provides the fruit and structure to the blend. The Rolle (a.k.a. Vermentino), being a very aromatic grape, adds floral notes and lushness on the palate. - Grape Varieties: 77 % Grenache, 13 % Rolle, 4 % Cinsault, 3 % Syrah, 3 % Tibouren.- Vineyards: 10-12 year old vines. Lower elevation vineyards. Clay and gravel soils.- Aging: Vinfied in stainless steel tanks. Whispering Angel is today's market leader for premium ros. No matter what style of wine you drink, everyone finds something in Whispering Angel that they enjoy and can identify with (from beginner to wine experts).
